The Safety of Mobile Phone Tower Emissions

A。Get the mystical physics straighten up :

1. Is Mobile phone communication a kind of microwave communication?

Yes.  

Due to its very high EM (electro magmatic) frequency: 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.  

PS: Any frequency above 1 GHz is microwave.  2.4 GHz is the frequency used both by microwave oven.  Mobile phone currently use 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.  Future 5G will use even higher than 5.8 GHz.

2. Does mobile phone tower (or base station) only emit EM waves OFF the building?

No. NOT only.  

The tower (or base station) will emit EM waves OUT or off the building as well as receive EM waves IN from another one or several base stations.

3. Does Mobile phone tower only emit one straight line of EM waves?

No.  

Spherical emission with many straight emission lines aiming at different directions is more accurate description about the tower's EM emissions.

4. Does EM emissions not go into the building?

No.

Refer to the EM textbooks for loss of EM field power: one of the listed loss of emissions power is accounted as those EM emissions which go into the building.

5. Does workers in the emission tower receive EM emissions protection?

Yes.  

They stay in a heavy metal, e.g. lead shielded room to protect themselves to avoid EM radiation.

6. Is it possible to shield the club lodge building with an all-round heavy metal such as lead shield?

No.  

It is apparently impossible.

B。Current research discoveries

1. How long ago is the world first EM emission related clusters of cancer identified?  Where?  And What was the result?

In 2006.  

The world first identified cancer cluster occurrences related to EM emission is at ABC Toowong Station, Brisbane.  

The staff of the ABC Toowong Station was immediately evacuated from the premise. (Refer to the famous "Armstrong Review". )

2. Is there more current case studies?

Yes. Please see below.

（1）In May 2016, the USA National Toxicology Program researchers released preliminary data that showed increased incidences of rare brain and heart tumors starting at about the federally allowable level of cellphone radiation for brain exposure, with greater incidences at about two and four times those levels. ( Notice this is cell phone, normally thought to have less impact than the tower).

（2）On 8 Aug 2016 the Los Angelus Times published a paper mentioning the American Cancer Society said the above study marked “a paradigm shift in our understanding of radiation and cancer risk”.

（3）On 9 Aug 2016 a US TV presenter David Hodges published a paper mentioning that he conducted an interview with noted researcher, Virginia Farver, she stated that one city council in Colorado approved the installation of these devices ( emission towers ) every quarter mile in densely populated areas. With this kind of penetration, every citizen within these localities will be exposed to this radiation, that increases cancer risk by 200-400%, on a 24/7/365 basis.

（4）The literature search for a short publication period of Jan-June 2016 conducted by myself found that there are as many as 11 research papers discovered adverse health effects by EM emission using literature listed by the Australian Radiation Production and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) .
