我向天空射出一支箭，
它落向地面，我不知其行踪;
因它飞的太快，眼睛岂能
跟得上它的飞行。

我对着天空唱出一首歌，
它落向地面，我不知其去向;
因为没有谁的眼力如此敏锐强大，
可以追踪歌曲的飞翔？

很久很久以后，在一棵橡树上
我见到那支箭，依然未折;
而那首歌，从头至尾，
保藏在一位朋友的心窝。
