Happy Holidays 2017!

Some nine years ago, we stopped sending out Christmas card greetings due to advancing age.  While we do reply to individual letters and e-mails, the task of addressing and writing each individual letters  several hundred times became daunting. Instead we ask our friends world wide to read our blogs  which let them know that “we are still here”. This year is no different and marks the 68^thholiday season I spent in the US since arrival on September 2^nd1950. To celebrate the occasion I attach two photos 68 years apart from a single 16 year old to  a family of 13 persons. We are a lucky couple!
