Conference Theme:
Instructional Innovations and Interdisciplinary Research in STEM Education
STEM-based curriculum provides students with interdisciplinary learning experiences between the school subjects of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The International Conference of STEM 2012 in Education creates opportunities for educators and researchers from schools, universities, businesses, industries and other private and public agencies to share and discuss their innovative practices and research initiatives that may advance STEM education. We welcome contributions from scholars/academics; teachers (including primary, middle and high school teachers), education officers, industry partners, graduated students, and others interested in the STEM agenda.

Submissions Requirements:
1. Contributions should be made in either English or Chinese. For Chinese papers, the title, abstract, and keywords should be included in both Chinese and English.(Academic paper in English, teaching practice paper in either English or Chinese)The paper should be submitted in Microsoft Word format, for article format please refer to samples on conference website.
2. Papers will undergo double-blind peer reviewing and will be considered for the proceedings on the conference website.
3. At least one author must apply for and be present at the conference for the publication papers.
Important dates:
Paper submission: 1 March to 30 June, 2012.
Research papers (Long paper, 8 pages; Short paper, 4 pages; Poster paper, 3 pages)
Workshop/Showcase (1-2 pages, only abstract needed)
Notification of acceptance: 30 July, 2012
Last date for registration: 1 September, 2012
*Selected outstanding papers from STEM 2012 will be considered for publishing in relevant journals cited by SSCI or SCI Indexed.
