Shocked to hear the sad news that the world-famous Linguist Charles Fillmore passed away. We were greatly influenced by his Case Theory and his follow-up practice in FrameNet. When Chomsky's theory seemed not a fit for NLP, we chose Fillmore. We named one office after him some years ago. Rest in peace, dear professor.
