Abstract: In order to provide general and concise safety work essentials and guidelines for safety professionals and organization managers, ten rules for safety work and their definitions are summarized based on the existing safety theoretical achievements and induction method. These ten rules include safety humanity rule, safety economy rule, safety dimension reduction rule, safety reducing variation rule, safety reducing density rule, safety reducing energy rule, safety curing root-cause rule, "safety @" rule, "safety+" rule and safety emergency preparedness rule. The research results show that if the ten rules of safety work are comprehensively combined with specific work objects, the safety professionals can conduct work orderly, and then form their efficient work knowledge system and contents. Also, ten rules of safety work provide basic principles and methodologies for organization managers to make safety decisions.
