I was at a Tenfu teashop in Qingdao, and tasted some inexpensive product of Tie Guanyin Tea ("Iron Goddess").

I liked it enough to bring some samplers back for my colleagues and friends in Hawaii. One colleague was serious enough about tea and asked me how it should be prepared. Beats me

I found the instruction on the box, and was about to translate it (as much as I hate translation, I was going to do it). Then, it occurred to me to go online first... So, here you go. (I did a bit editing, including correcting a typo.)

      " DIRECTION

Warm the tea pot

Add tea leaves(3-6g), best with 90℃ water

Wait 60 seconds for the first brew

Allow an additional 5 to 10 seconds the following brews according to personal preference

Highly prized for its distinctive quality, Tieh kwan Yin is finely and evenly rolled, its leaves a polished luster of sandy green. Its rich, smooth and bracing aroma, its smooth and sweet flavor, and its sparkling after-taste make this tea so unique that it has gained wide acclaim for its qualities, which may best be described as "vibrant, sweet, refreshing and fragrant."
