In the morning, Dr. Gerald gave a lecture about Views of Good Teaching. He told us good teachers must do as follows. We must always make the material we teach stimulating and interesting for our students. We should update our teaching to respond to new demands. We’d better use teaching methods and tasks that challenge students to think for themselves. We should be well prepared for our lessons.We should oftenmotivate our students. We never forget to show respect for our students. Of course, Making learning enjoyable is also important.

In the afternoon, Dr. Chew and Dr. Blackey gave us a lecture about Technology and Enhanced Learning. There are many resouse we can use in the TEL of Glamorgan university. Most importantly, assessment at Glamorgan is very important, and plagiarizing is considered as crime in the U.K. The teachers also use softerware to check students’ paper. The reference in the paper can’t be over 10%. Most of all, if you plagiarize over 20% in your paper. You must be kick out. It’s so terrible, so we can’t do the homework by just copying matierial from the internet. If this softeare come to our coutry, everything change.
