The Builders

from The Seaside and the Fireside

All are architects of Fate,

   Working in these walls of Time;

Some with massive deeds and great,

   Some with ornaments of rhyme.

Nothing useless is, or low;

   Each thing in its place is best;

And what seems but idle show

   Strengthens and supports the rest.

For the structure that we raise,

   Time is with materials filled;

Our to-days and yesterdays

   Are the blocks with which we build.

Truly shape and fashion these;

让我们把自己的事情做好，

要建得完整、清洁、美艳。

既然楼梯破旧晃摇，

一脚踩上就要摔倒。

那些高耸的楼塔。

2026年3月18日请DeepSeek翻译此诗，答卷如下。我只是保证每段诗的第2行与第4行押韵，而DS敏锐地注意到原诗的韵脚是abab，故翻译时做到了1、3行押韵，2、4行押韵。这一点我非常佩服：
