*昨夜一直下雨,今晨8:00am起,飘起了雪花而且越来越大,真有点“飞雪迎春到”的情景，气温已经明显下降。好在室内仍有暖气，并不感到寒意。从窗外望去，风雪交加，时紧时松，已是满地雪白，树枝刚刚冒出的绿芽又轻轻地披上一层白纱，门前那棵开满粉红色花瓣的树上又多增添了不少白雪花，成为在寒冬和暖春都少见的景色。

*Y今天去办公室加班,2:00pm回到家，接着我们四人到金乡、Apple Farm、Path Mark采购下周食品，冒雪行进，看到遍地雪花加上鲜花覆盖着雪花的景况很是好看。尤其是玉兰树上点缀着雪花，与往常不同，颇为少见。3:00pm回家时雪停风起,挂在树枝和花草上的雪花纷纷落下或化成雨水。

2000年4月9日 (星期日)  阴历三月初五，White Plains，雨，C9-C18

    John从国内回美已经几天，8:00pm举行电话会议。

    10:30am-12:30pm,我和吕继续看完Jane Eyre下半部。该片的介绍称：“The remarkable story of a woman whose strength, courage, and determination enable her to triumph over adversity is vividly re-created. The talented cast features Timothy Dalton (The Lion in Winter, Wuthering Heights) and London stage star Zelah Clarke in her outstanding portrayal of one of literature’s most memorable heroines. This highly praised dramatization brings all the mystery and romance to life as passionately as Bronte herself must have imagined it.239 Minutes, Color, 1983.”长达四个小时的影片虽然更加忠于原著,但是过于沉闷和拖沓,显然不如改编为2小时的影片效果好。下午和晚上,我们连续看<<深圳之恋>>电视连续片的第7-12集。

今天完成了三月第一周的加州之行日记的补记工作，同时修改二月最后一周的日记，时过境迁需要抓紧时间完成下余三周的加州之行。

    晚上突然发现常用的咖啡和开水两用的水壶虹吸失灵，无法启用，这个壶才邮购买了不到一年，看能否更换。
