北京时间10月3日下午5点30分,2016年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖揭晓,日本科学家大隅良典(Yoshinori Ohsumi)获奖。获奖理由是“发现了细胞自噬机制。”
大隅良典,1945年2月9日出生于日本福冈。1974年从东京大学获得博士学位。1974年至1977年,他在美国洛克菲勒大学做博后,随后返回日本,就职于东京工业大学。
今年的诺贝尔奖获得者发现并阐明了细胞自噬的机制——这是细胞成分降解和循环利用的一个基本过程。
