人工耳蜗获2013年度拉斯克临床医学奖 国际研究文献分析 精选

        人工耳蜗(Cochlear Implant)是一种电子装置,由体外言语处理器将声音转换为一定编码形式的电信号,通过植入体内的电极系统直接兴奋听神经来恢复或重建聋人的听觉功能。近年来,随着电子技术、计算机技术、语音学、电生理学、材料学、耳显微外科学的发展,人工耳蜗已经从实验研究进入临床应用。现在全世界已把人工耳蜗作为治疗重度聋至全聋的常规方法。

今年的拉斯克临床医学奖授予澳大利亚墨尔本大学名誉退休教授Graeme M. Clark、奥地利茵斯布鲁克MED-EL人工耳蜗公司的Ingeborg Hochmair和美国杜克大学的Blake S. Wilson。获奖理由是“现代人工耳蜗的研发——该装置为严重耳聋的人获得了听力”。
