(For new reader and those who request 好友请求, please read my 公告栏 first)
Recently I have been systematically re-reading my blogs from the first articles( dated 4/25/2007) to the most recent. Two things I have noted:
1. I would not change any words in any of the articles nor do I regret in saying them. This sentiment applies particularly to articles of advice on academia and life. The simple reason is because they are from the heart based on my own life experiences of 80 years.
2. More recently, my blog articles tend to have more time sensitive content being comment on current event in the US, China, and the world.
This is natural. There are only so much life experiences worth talking about. And I have written most of them in the past six years. As a result, current events begin to occupy more and more of my writings. However, this does not make the earlier writings about advices on academia, science, and life any less truthful or worthy. I urge new readers who are looking for advice to peruse them from the beginning at their leisure. You may find answers to you questions there already. For old friends, you may also find re-reading them enjoyable as I did.
