少女时光，我睡在林子里

光着头，头顶是发出锯齿般光芒的星星

蝙蝠的翅翼差点掠到我

那时，我品尝豆瓣菜

野胡萝卜和野菠菜

那时，我藏在身边的丁香认识我

那时，那些丁香，受累于

我对它们的期望

开始了一段没有我陪伴的旅程

那时，土路在歌唱

哦，别了，玫瑰花

土路跑到修剪过的

白松篱笆后面

扎进心碎得

不成样子的原野

    Cecily Parks （塞西莉.帕克斯），美国女诗人，出版有诗集O’Nights (《咏夜》，Alice James Books, 2015) 和 Field Folly Snow (University of Georgia Press, 2008) ，还主编了诗集The Echoing Green: Poems of Fields, Meadows, and Grasses (《回声荡漾的绿野：关于原野、草地和草原的诗篇》，Everyman’s Library, 2016)。

    她为得克萨斯州立大学的艺术硕士研究生讲授创意写作课程。

Girlhood

By Cecily Parks

was when I slept in the woods
bareheaded beneath jagged
stars and the membranous
near-misses of bats, when
I tasted watercress,
wild carrot, and sorrel,
when I was known
by the lilac I hid beside,
and when that lilac, burdened
by my expectations of lilacs,
began a journey
without me, as when
the dirt road sang, O,
rugosa rose, farewell,
and ran behind the clipped
white pine hedge into
the immeasurable
heartbreaks of the field.
