∮ 1法国里尔大学(Université de Lille)

       法国北方的里尔大学(Université de Lille, northern France)历史悠久，其学术渊源可以追溯到1562年成立的杜埃大学(University of Douai)。不过，人们通常认为里尔大学正式建立于1854年，时称“里尔科学学院”(Faculty of Sciences of Lille) 。伟大的微生物学家路易·巴斯德（Louis Pasteur，1822--1895）担任里尔科学学院的首任院长。

       自19世纪中叶以来，里尔科学学院几经更名。1896年更名为“里尔大学”(Université de Lille)。1976年改名为“里尔科学技术大学”(The Lille University of Science and Technology, northern France)。2009年，又改名为“里尔第一大学”( Université de Lille 1)。

∮ 2 里尔大学和古植物学

        1878年，著名古植物学家Charles Eugène Bertrand  (1851—1917)担任里尔大学植物学教授(University of Lille, northern France)。自那时起，里尔大学关于化石植物的研究经历了130多年的历史。

        Charles Eugène Bertrand的儿子  Paul Charles édouard Bertrand(1879--1944)也是著名古植物学家。Paul Charles édouard Bertrand成年后入读里尔大学，子承父业。1927年，Paul Bertrand荣任里尔大学古植物学首席教授( chair of palaeobotany)。

        1944年，Paul Bertrand去世。他的学生-- Paule Danzé-Corsin(1904--1983)继承了学术衣钵。

∮ 3 古植物学院士Paule Danzé-Corsin (1904--1983)

        1904年5月12日，Paule Danzé-Corsin出生于法国中部偏东的Saône-et-Loire (east-Central France)。他在里尔大学工作了一辈子，主要研究晚古生代植物。1953年，Paule Danzé-Corsin在里尔大学完成了他的博士学位论文，内容主要研究了法国石炭纪植物，基本信息如下：

       1958年，Paule Danzé-Corsin当选为法兰西科学院通讯院士。1974年，他的古植物学职位由Jean Pierre Laveine接替。  

       1983年4月5日，Paule Danzé-Corsin去世，享年79岁。
