Because it wants to green the land.
Why are the Alps so high?
Because they want to be moistened by snows.
Why do we live?
Because brilliant sunshine needs us to experience;
Because the beautiful brook needs us to dabble;
Because green land needs us to manage;
Because the Alps need us to appreciate.
