从读研究生算起至今从事科研工作已经有十余年了，在科研上也没有任何建树，至今依然是三无人员。不过，作为科研民工，倒是为不少期刊义务审了很多论文。

据不完全统计已经成为30多种SCI/EI检索的期刊的审稿人。

在为期刊审理稿件的过程，从来没有出现过意外。换句话说，期刊邀请你审稿都会要求你按时返回审稿意见，这个时间从一周，到两个月不等。不同的期刊要求是不一样，不过大多数期刊给的时间在一个月左右。

在规定的时间内，期刊一般不会取消该审稿邀请。如果有特殊的情况（例如作者撤稿）需要取消该邀请的话，都会发邮件通知。

然而，这次审稿经历，不仅让我感到震惊，而且让我感到气愤。在2024年7月25日07:16:30收到Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems期刊的论文"Analysing the radiation reliability, performance and energy consumption of low-power SoC through heterogeneous parallelism" (SUSCOM-D-24-00887)"的审稿邀请，并于当天08:21:31接受了该审稿邀请，于此同时在期刊的审稿系统下载了该论文。 

此外，该稿件的审稿截止日期为2024年8月23日。这个期刊属于中国科学院分区3区，是我研究方向的主流期刊。此外，我不仅在这期刊上发表了三篇论文，而且也为该期刊审理过5篇稿件。更重要的是所邀请审理的稿件和我的研究方向比较相关，所以就欣然接受了该审稿邀请。

这几天，我花费了大量的时间审理该稿件，并且在2024年8月9日写好审稿意见，打算在期刊的审稿系统提交。然而，让人震惊的是无法在系统提交该稿件的评审意见。随后，查看了所有的邮件，发现在这期间并没有取消该审稿邀请的任何通知。

期刊编辑这样的做法让人感到气愤，让人无法接受，白白浪费了我大量的时间。既然你们不信任我，就没有必要给我发审稿邀请；既然发了，我也同意了，并且在规定的时候提交审稿意见，你们不通知就取消审稿邀请，这样的做法是违背同行评议的原则。

所以，当即决定写信投诉该编辑，再查找信息的时候，发现该编辑是阿三，瞬时就明白了。不过，明白归明白，理解归理解，投诉是必须的。随即给该期刊的主编写了一下的投诉信：

I am XXX, and I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent handling of my invitation to review your journal paper titled "XXX" (Manuscript ID: SUSCOM-D-24-00887). On July 25, 2024, at 07:16:30, I received an invitation to review the aforementioned manuscript. I promptly accepted the invitation at 08:21:31 the same day and proceeded to download the paper. The deadline for submitting my review comments was set for August 23, 2024.

I dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to thoroughly review the manuscript, and I completed my comments by August 9, 2024. However, when I attempted to submit my comments through the journal's review system, I was surprised to find that I was unable to do so. To my dismay, I had not received any prior notification, and upon further investigation, I discovered that my review invitation had been cancelled.

This unexpected cancellation without any communication is both frustrating and unacceptable. It not only wasted my valuable time but also undermined the trust placed in the peer review process. If there were any doubts about my participation, it would have been more appropriate not to extend the invitation in the first place. However, once the invitation was accepted and I completed my review within the designated time frame, cancelling it without informing me is unprofessional and discourteous.

I hope this matter can be addressed to prevent such occurrences in the future. Clear communication and mutual respect are essential in maintaining the integrity of the academic peer review process. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

这封投诉信写完，决定还不够，又给科睿唯安公司写了一篇投诉信，因为编辑的操作可能是违法同行评审原则的。

总之，这次审稿经历不仅让我白白浪费了宝贵的时间，让人感到气愤，而且对该期刊的印象大大折扣。
