We have animal ethics, then do we have plant ethics and microbe ethics? If we cannot eat animals, then why we should eat plants? Is photosynthesis by oneself the final choice of noble human beings? Or, maybe one day we can make the food by totally chemical means?

Is an ecosystem functional without any animals? What are the indispensable roles of herbivorous and carnivorous animals in the ecosystem? Do carnivores have any original sins since they eat meat?
