Dr.和PhD的用法区别

         Dr.是对任何一个获得博士学位者的礼貌称呼头衔，一般放在姓前；但是博士学位有多种，而PhD只是获得了Doctor of Philosophy的一种类型博士学位，其他种类的博士学位还有如Doctor of Education (EdD)、Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)等多种。Dr.和PhD是不可互换的，只有获得了Doctor of Philosophy博士学位的才能用PhD。PhD一般置于姓名后，如：Stacey Childs, PhD.。另外注意即便是获得了Doctor of Philosophy博士学位的，一般也称呼Dr.。
