Dr. Linda B. Buck (born on January 29, 1947), an American biologist, mainly studies how smell and pheromones are first detected by the nose and then converted into different feelings and behaviors by the brain. In addition, Linda Barker and her colleagues are also committed to the study of the functions that cause aging and determine the length of life. [4] She won the 2004 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine together with Richard Axel for her outstanding research in smell.
