For new readers and those who request to be“好友 good friends”  please read my 公告栏 firstI have said this before that the “CEO of a corporation is the last  dictator  left in a democracy” in that what he says goes for the corporation.  But the US government is built on “checks and balances”. There are three co-equal  branches of the government and there are real limits on what the President  of the US (POTUS) can and cannot do. In a way, many of the problems   confronting the current Trump administration can be viewed through  this lens.  Trump grew up in a privileged position and had the CEO position  handed to him. True he also succeeded, prospered and got used to power  in this position.  His  unexpected victory and his habit of not very interested  in learning things new led him to believe that the country USA can  be run in a similar way as he ran his company. In fact, much of his campaign  oratory reflect this view ( “I know how to do deals, and I’ll solve our problems  like nobody can “).  Now he is frustrated and angry to discover that he is not  and cannot be the dictator of the US. Therein lies the explanation to  many of the “scandals, inability to pass legislations, and personnel problems  of his administration” .God helps us to survive the next three and half years.
