Lovely vienna children

In my former blog article, I have introduced the 2015 EGU conference. We also took this opportunity to have visited some places close to the conference center. I have walked along the bank of the Danube River, vitnessed the happy and leisure weekend life of the Vienna people, visited the downtown city and saw the unique ancient architecture and sculpture, walked around a residential areas and found diverse house styles, and the nearby beautiful lake scenery.

The blue sky, clear water, and beautiful flowers here are the very normal scene to the local people, but a rare treasure to me.

The unique architecture and the delicate sculpture and decoration are centuries of culture sediments.  

Railway (or metro)and trolley buses are very important traffic forms to the local people and to the tourists. I didnot see any traffic jam no matter in the less populated area or in downtown.

The road guides and other signs are simple and clear, very easy to follow!

  维也纳是一座历史悠久，艺术气息深厚，风景秀丽的城市, 市民也十分友善。维也纳也称为音乐之都，世界上许多著名的音乐家,如海顿、莫扎特、贝多芬、舒伯特、施特劳斯等,都在这里度过大部分音乐生涯,谱写了许多优美的乐章。

    维也纳更是一个艺术之都，多瑙河穿城而过，古老的建筑与雕塑给这座城市披上了厚重的历史感，现代的建筑与古老的教堂交相辉映。蓝天碧水和秀丽的风光让整个城市充满了生机与活力！

   我注意到很多房屋的房顶上都有站立的人像，不知道这些是不是古希腊神话中的人物，也不清楚它们有什么寓意。

Vienna also has many museums, but for me, I prefer to the outdoor scenery, especially natural scenery. In fact, the downtown city is a large outdoor architecture and sculpture museum!

You don't need to pay one  cent to see this scenery and it's very convenient and cheap to take metro to the city downtown. You can also take tolley buses from transfer from this street to another street too. They can be seen everywhere in the downtown.
