We're excited to share the news of our latest development: new functionality in the Altmetric Explorer and Altmetric for Institutions platform which enables you to search the entire database by ORCID iD.

Our most requested feature this year, users are now able to enter individual author ORCID iDs to find Altmetric attention data for all the research outputs associated with that ORCID profile.

By allowing users to quickly find Altmetric attention data for research outputs associated with their ORCIDs, we want to make it easier for scholars to get well-deserved credit for all their research contributions – including but certainly not limited to journal articles.

As one of the early members of ORCID, we are committed to helping our users get the most out of their ORCID profiles, and we’ll definitely be thinking of additional ways to link ORCIDs and Altmetric data in future.
