周刚,大连理工大学外语学院副教授、硕士生导师。1979—1983年就读于东北师范大学外语学院,主修英语语言文学专业,并获得文学学士学位;1991—1992年就读于新加坡南洋理工大学教育学院,主修教育学,并获得教育学研究生学历;2002—2005年就读于英国卡迪夫大学语言与交际研究中心,主修语言与交际学,先后获得文学硕士、哲学硕士学位;2012—2013年以“富布赖特住校学者”身份在美国新泽西伯根学院讲学。主要研究方向为跨文化交际学、研究方法、数据统计与分析等。
内容简介:
本书以笔者的博士论文为蓝本比较全面地介绍了本研究领域的研究现状、系统的研究方法、本学科的前沿研究成果及其未来发展方向等。全书共分9章,以历史、文化、宗教、语言学等维度为线索来阐述东西方文化与交际模式的差异性。本研究通过在中英两所大学的学生中采集了两个不同文化的样本探索中国大学生对交际能力的自我认知与学业成绩的自我评价之间的相关联性,并从中发现他们的交际能力自我认知是否会对学业成绩的自我评价产生影响,并把所有的统计数据进行了对比性研究。
