50.Preparation and thermal characterization of paraffin/metal foam composite phase change material
Xiao, X; Zhang, P and Li, M4th International Conference on Applied Energy (ICAE)Dec 2013APPLIED ENERGY 112 , pp.1357-1366
The utilization of paraffin in the latent thermal energy storage (LTES) system for solar energy storage is hampered by its low thermal conductivity. Paraffin/nickel foam and paraffin/copper foam composite phase change materials (PCMs) were prepared using a vacuum impregnation method in the present study. The impregnation ratios which reflect the actual mass fraction of pure paraffin impregnated

In this paper we study a system of Schrodinger-Poisson equations
{-Delta u + lambda V(x)u + K(x)phi u = vertical bar u vertical bar(p-2)u, in R-3,
-Delta phi = K(x)u(2), in R-3,
where lambda > 0 is a parameter, 2 < p < 6. Under suitable assumptions on V and K, the existence of nontrivial solution and concentration results are obtained via variational methods. In particular, th

52.QUASILINEAR ELLIPTIC EQUATIONS VIA PERTURBATION METHOD
Liu, XQ; Liu, JQ and Wang, ZQJan 2013PROCEEDINGS OF THE AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY 141 (1) , pp.253-263
We present a new approach to studying a class of quasilinear problems including the so-called Modified Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations (MNLS). We show that solutions of quasilinear equations can be obtained as limits of 4-Laplacian perturbations.

53.Quasi linear elliptic equations with critical growth via perturbation method
Liu, XQ; Liu, JQ and Wang, ZQJan 1 2013JOURNAL OF DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS 254 (1) , pp.102-124
We consider a class of quasilinear Schrodinger equations which include the Modified Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations. A new perturbation approach is used to treat the critical exponent case giving new existence results. (c) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
