Umbrella of German Palaeobotany(13)

Harald Walther (1929--2013)was a German palaeobotanist. He got his Doctorate degree from the Technical University in Dresden, Germany in 1968. His research interests centered on theTertiary floras and climate change in Saxony and Bohemia. Harald Walther published about 250 papers.

Professor Zlatko Kvaček(1937--) of Charles University (Praha, Czeck) wrote an interesting biography of Harald Walther, which appeared in Acta Palaeobotanica to celebrate Professor Harald Walther’s 80^th birthday. Please read the following article:
