SCI期刊Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems 两个月前被Clarivate公司亮了红牌，被标记为 on hold 

但凡期刊被标记上on hold，难免不被Clarivate公司从SCIE期刊目录中剔除

on hold，对期刊而言就是没顶之灾，面对on hold，JIFS的主编坐不住了，今天早上，收到了他群发的邮件

Dear JIFS Authors and Reviewers As you may be aware JIFS receives up to 10,000 submissions per year. While the vast majority of our authors and reviewers do a conscientious job of preparing and/or reviewing the submitted manuscripts, Clarivate which handles journal indexing and ranking placed JIFS on hold approximately two months ago due to presumed concerns over certain quality issues at the Journal. Meanwhile, Sage Publishing which has managed the Journal for the past year also performed its own assessment of the situation over the past few weeks. Due to the differences in opinion between myself and the management at Sage on the path forward, I have decided to resign from my role as the Editor-in-Chief of JIFS to give a free hand to Sage to do as it sees fit with respect to the Journal and its operational structure. Precisely what happens with the Journal is now in the hands of Sage, of which it will inform you in due time.
