The Refugee Problem of the World。

I have written earlier about the fact that my youngest daughter work for an international charitable organization, The International Rescue Committee (IRS), dealing mostly with the refuge problems of the world http://blog.sciencenet.cn/blog-1565-874894.html .According to the IRC currently there are 66 million refugees (with 10 million added in 2016) in our world that needed help. Today (6/21/2017) is World Refugee Day which highlights this major problem. http://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2017/06/20/intv-amanpour-david-miliband-world-refugee-day.cnn/video/playlists/amanpour/ and effort by IRC and others to offer help. In this connection, IRC pointed out that the developed countries of the world are only taking in ten 0f thousands of refugees while a poor country like Uganda have in fact took in millions.While China is not a destination usually for refugees, I cannot help wonder as a country with the second largest GDP what steps China has taken to help elevate the refugee problem.
