棉田长万里，

航迹道无痕。

天上追镰月，

人中见慧根。

临冬观碧汉，

面壁暖寒村。

莫诉斜阳晚，

携风返校园。

The clounds like white cotton fields last ten thousands of miles away.

No flight line can leave its mark in the sky of the day.

Furtunately, the bright, curvy moon and I can together fly.

You are the only person with the root of wisdom in the crowds in the aisle.

In the blue sky at the coming winter night, we together see the Milky way. 

Meditating nearby the furnace walls in the cold house, becoming warmer from the clay. 

Don't tell anything late in a slant of sunlight.

I am back to my compus as soon as I can with the wind going by.

*   2024年11月2-6日在重庆参加了镁国际会议，获得镁科学技术奖年度创新奖。这也是继去年获得年度人物奖后第二次获奖。

    会议期间再次遇见了韩国工程院院士、首尔大学辛光善（Kwang Seon Shin）教授。午饭后我在楼梯一角拍酒店挂出的画作，交谈中，得知他也很喜欢艺术。于是乎，把我为会议写的小诗《五律 镁》发给他欣赏。他似乎能理解中国古典律诗，很快给我回复：“ I really liked the poem, you are a very nice poet.”（我很喜欢这首诗，你是一个好诗人）。韩国浦项工科大学（Pohang University of 

Science and Technology）Nack J. Kim教授对本人的诗也表现出浓厚兴趣。

    昨天上午在酒店前公园与几位朋友聊天，偶遇一位佛门化缘人。下午从重庆返回青岛。天空晴朗，白云如棉，绵延千里，纹丝不动。夜幕下，临窗突然发现，一弯明月与我同行，机身下则灯火阑珊。

    远行给人提供了洗浴凡体与心灵的契机（Travel provides the opportunity for people to wash their bodies and souls）。

    第一次尝试写英文诗，为了方便外国友人阅读。
