¨  Preparation of semiconductor nanocrystals, magnetic nanocrystals and metallic nanocrystals and their applications.

¨ Nanocomposites and 2D-/3D- nanostructures based on nanoparticles by surface/interface self-assembly and even their applications, especially in biological systems.

¨ Photoinduced electron transfer and photoelectric nanomaterials toward solar cell and new energy resource storage technology.

¨ Biocompatible or intelligent polymer materials based on new polymerization methods such as atom-transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT), nitroxide-mediated polymerization (NMP), and two-photon polymerization, etc.

¨ Other challenge topics in nanoscience and polymer science, especially for biological and photoelectric materials.
