Full title of the New Book: From Nature and Beauty -- Mathematics, Physics, and the Structure of Human Civilization

Modern physics rests on one recognized pillar: mass–energy equivalence. But a fundamental question remains: What is the true relationship between force and energy?

Since Einstein established the principle of mass–energy equivalence, modern physics has largely been built upon this foundational idea. Yet, in many real-world situations, another question naturally arises:

When a system continuously exerts force without macroscopic motion, does it truly perform no work?If not, how should the associated energy consumption be understood?

Motivated by these questions, I gradually arrived at a new perspective:

Force and power are intrinsically equivalent.

This idea can be expressed in a simple but fundamental form:

This formulation reflects a simple but profound observation:even in seemingly static systems, energy may still be continuously consumed, and such consumption is intrinsically linked to the sustaining force.

My new book, From Nature and Beauty: Mathematics, Physics, and the Structure of Human Civilization, was written within this conceptual framework.

Rather than focusing on a single theory, the book brings together several interconnected themes:

  • The geometry of space curves and Frenet frameworks

  • Dynamical systems and differential equations

  • Radiation pressure, dissipation, and physical mechanisms

  • The deep structural connections between mathematics and physical reality

Through these explorations, a unified perspective gradually emerges:

Mathematics, physics, and structure are not separate domains, but different expressions of the same underlying reality.

If mass–energy equivalence represents one pillar of modern physics, this work aims to explore the possibility of a second:

Force and energy may be two equivalent manifestations of physical reality.

This book is not intended as a closed theoretical system, nor as a minor extension of existing frameworks. Instead, it is an attempt:

  • to revisit long-standing foundational questions

  • to build new connections across disciplines

  • to open directions for future exploration

The book is now published through BookBaby and has entered production and distribution.

If this work can inspire discussion or offer a new way of thinking about physical reality, then its purpose will have been fulfilled. The exploration, however, has only just begun.
