一本Young Adults类型的小说，这本书的作者，John Green, 作家/自媒体/网红/制片/演员/编辑，多才多艺，典型斜杠青年。名列2014年《时代杂志》评选出的100名当年最有影响力人物之一。

The Fault in Our Stars是他的第六本书，2012年纽约时报畅销榜第一名。

(1)书中的一段话在网络上病毒式传播，被誉为表白的最佳选择:

"I am in love with you, and i know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we are all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and i konw the sun will swallow the only earth we will ever have, and i am in love with you."
