未选择的路-Frost的困惑

对于凡夫俗子,对于摆在我们面前的路,似乎只有一条。对大部分的人来说,命中似乎早已经注定,通向成功的路只有一条,也只有这一条。我们的眼睛从来就没有看到过另一条路,我们似乎也不敢去看另一条路,更不用说去走那条路了。限于我们的眼界,我们看不到前方的路;限于我们的智慧,我们无法判断哪条是该走的路!我们的路为何越走越窄啊!
人在旅途,该怎样走?
当年,美国诗人Robert Frost写下一首著名的诗篇《未选择的路》,是他和友人在一起漫步的时候获得的灵感。当他们来到一个黄树林前,黄树林前的路上恰好有两个分叉,两条同样的路,路上落叶缤纷,是向左,还是向右?就摆在诗人和友人的前面?这就是Frost所面临的两难困境!然而,这一困境的另一面却是,他还有选择的路!他的遗憾是,我是否应该走另外一条路?我还能否再走另一条路?
采用新的韵脚再次诠释这首诗。
The Road Not Taken

未选择的路
黄树林前岔路口,Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
人生遗憾难两走,And sorry I could not travel both
孤身长立放眼望,And be one traveler, long I stood
苍茫林海无尽头,And looked down one as far as I could
小路弯弯草悠悠。To where it bent in the undergrowth;
踏上左路放弃右,Then took the other, as just as fair
或许还有好理由,And having perhaps the better claim,
绿草茵茵把人诱;Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
若把右路同样过,Though as for that, the passing there
风雨坎坷无薄厚。Had worn them really about the same,
晨晖两路映眼前,And both that morning equally lay
霜清叶亮无人走。In leaves no step had trodden black
留下那条缤纷路! Oh, I kept the first for another day!
且向峰峦歧处多,Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
暗思能否再回首。I doubted if I should ever come back.
轻声一叹往事道,I shall be telling this with a sigh
迷茫岁月烟雨稠:Somewhere ages and ages hence:
人在旅途岔路口,two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
独辟蹊径少人走,I took the one less traveled by,
坦途崎岖终造就。and that has made all the difference.
