Nowadays hardly a day goes by wihtout notification by Academia.com or Research Gate that one or both of the following publications of mine were cited by another published paper.

Two of my publications: 

1. Simple Explanation of the No Free Lunch Theorem (published in 1992)

2. Applied Optimal Control- Optimization, Estimation and Control (published in 1969)

The second publication is a text book co-authored with my senior mentor, A.E. Bryson, that has became the gold standard for control theory and has been translated into both Russian and Chinese. Both publications has materially contributed to my H-index being at 67 (H-index above 40 means good, 50 excellent, 60 exceptional). 

This is a legacy I am proud to be leaving with my family which starting with myself in 1950 has now grown to four living generations with 15 members of four different ethnicities (Chinese, Korean, Iranian, and Scotland - all Americans of course).
