I just learned that Bristish control theorist, David Mayne, unexpectedly passed away on May 27 after spending a festive week with friends and family. He was 94. I knew David since 1969 and had close interactions with him both in UK and USA. Last time I seen him in person was at his 90th birthday zoom meeting. Our ranks are dwindling!
