I am never ceased to be surprised by the detialed attention to the design of our living condition in this retirement community. This place is equiped with large swimming pool next to the exercise facility. Unlike the usual swimming pool which has a deep and shallow end, instead it has deep and shallow swimming lanes (i.e., the design is turned 90 degrees from the traditional). An inexperienced swimmer can choose to swim in shallow lane where you can stand up anywhere in the lane with your head above water. In the traditiona swimming design, one end of all swimming lanes is deep and you cannot stand up and still be above water. And of course the pool in monitored by human being during the open hours so that help/supervision is available all the time.
