“Phytomer”宜译为“植物体节”

让我们先看看植物体节(phytomer)的定义

1During the vegetative phase of growth, the shoot apical meristem produces stem, leaves and axillary buds in units known as phytomers.

2An organic element of a flowering plant; a phyton.

3Phytomere is a shoot developmental unit that is repeated as a shoot grows, it consists of a node with one or more leaves attached, the internode below the node and one or more lateral buds. The unique aspects of plants, including sessile habit, modular growth and diverse developmental programs expressed at the phytomer level

4A phytomer is the functional elementary unit of plant

5the meristic organization of the plant body which is supposedly formed by repetitions of its morphological unit, the phytomer. According to the phytomer concept of SHARMAN (1942), each grass leaf and its associated internode with intercalary meristem activity form such a developmentally independent unit.

6A plant can be considered as the accumulation of elements which consist of stem fragment attached with leaf and lateral bud piled up axially. Stem fragment attached with one leaf and one lateral bud is assumed, called phytomer.

7Plant shoots are comprised of repeated structural segments called phytomers, each comprised of the leaf, stem, and lateral bud (Sharman, 1942; Galinat, 1959).

8Any axe (main stem or tiller) is made of a repetition of a basic motif, the phytomer, comprising a leaf, and internode (a stem segment), a node (which connect the successive internodes to form the stem, and a bud (which may develop in a tiller). The rank of a phytomer denotes its position along an axe: the lower phytomer has rank one and the highest phytomer, bearing the flag leaf, has a rank equal to the total number of leaves formed on this axe. The different components of a phytomer (leaf, internode, etc) are given the same rank as the phytomer. In the text, the term “position” is used, with the same meaning as “rank”.

鉴于phyto-的意义为“A prefix meaning “plant.””–mere or –mer的意义为“Part; segment: blastomere, polymer.”
