经常收到一些新办杂志的邀请投稿。以前都没有怎么在意，一是由于时间问题，只是大概看看；二是现有的杂志就已经很多了，觉得没有精力顾及这些新杂志了。呵呵，今天又来了一封。就仔细看了下。其内容如下：

Dear Professor Liu（我这个professor 当的太早了，呵呵）,

I am writing to invite you to submit an article to the newly launched "Research Letters in Nanotechnology," which aims to provide a rapid forum for the dissemination of shorter articles in all areas of nanotechnology. The journal will aim for a publication speed of 60 days from submission until final publication. Articles will be limited to a maximum of four published pages, and they should convey important results that have not been previously published.

Research Letters in Nanotechnology will be published using an open access publication model, meaning that all interested readers will be able to freely access the journal online without the need for a subscription, since the journal is supported by article processing charges rather than subscription fees. The journal has a distinguished editorial board with extensive academic qualifications, ensuring that the journal will maintain high scientific standards and have a broad international coverage. Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal using the publisher's electronic Manuscript Tracking System, which is located at http://mts.hindawi.com.      我想，凡是在国际刊物上发表过文章的朋友都可能收到类似的信件。其实，投稿倒不要紧，也不在乎这杂志现在没有被SCI, EI检索之类的。况且我看了看，这新杂志的编辑中还是有很多研究做得不错的教授。但是，关键的问题在他们要收钱。这个我们现在没有办法接收。纳米方面的杂志，像wiley, ACS, APS, AIP, RSC, IOP 等著名系统上的都是免费。我想这种收费要求可能大大限制削弱人们的投稿热情了。然而，对杂志而言，正如信中所说"the journal is supported by article processing charges rather than subscription fees." 不知道大家怎样看待这些新杂志的邀稿问题。
