The Univerisity at a Glance 

北京工业大学创建于1960年，是一所以工为主，工、理、经、管、文、法、艺术、教育相结合的多科性市属重点大学。1981年成为国家教育部批准的第一批硕士学位授予单位，1985年成为博士学位授予单位，1996年通过国家“211工程”预审，正式跨入国家二十一世纪重点建设的百所大学的行列。2017年9月，学校正式进入国家一流学科建设高校行列。在2020年QS世界大学排行榜中，学校位居中国内地第32名。 

Founded in 1960, Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) is a municipal multidisciplinary key university providing programs in science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law, art and education, with engineering as its core focus. In 1981, BJUT was approved by the Ministry of Education as one of the first to confer master’s degrees in China. In 1985, BJUT was approved to confer doctoral degrees. In 1996, BJUT was listed into China’s “211 Project” and officially joined the rank of the country’s Top 100 key universities in the 21st century. In September 2017, BJUT was listed into China’s “World-class Discipline Construction Plan”. In 2020, BJUT ranked 32 in the QS Mainland China University Rankings.

Creating a High-level Multi-tiered Discipline Structure with Distinctive Features and Cross Collaboration 

学校围绕“北京技术创新行动计划”等经济社会发展重大需求，根据自身特色优势，重点布局“现代城市建设与环境工程”一流学科群，直接推动核心学科、带动支撑学科和辐射学校其他主体学科，促进学校学科建设水平的跨越式发展。通过学科交叉融合以及基础学科、艺术、教育、经管等人文社科类学科的深度协同，形成了“一流工科、优势理科、特色文管、精品艺术”的学科建设新格局。 

Guided by the major demands of Beijing’s economic and social development, and in light of its own characteristics and advantages, BJUT pursues the leapfrog development of its disciplines by placing a great emphasis on its world-class disciplinary cluster of Modern Urban Construction and Environmental Engineering, while strengthening painstakingly its core disciplines and supporting disciplines. Through the cross-disciplinary integration and collaboration, BJUT creates a new discipline layout featuring top engineering disciplines, preponderant science disciplines, distinctive humanities and management disciplines, and exquisite art disciplines.

千秋基业，人才为本。学校紧紧围绕实施人才强校、特色发展和开放办学三大战略，坚持“强高端、优结构、重改革、增活力”的人才工作方针，构建层次清晰、衔接紧密的校内外人才引育体系，着力营造适合人才成长发展的制度环境，为青年教师的科研教学之路助力护航。截至目前，学校在职教职工3171人，其中专任教师2000人。  

Talent is the foundation of an ambitious cause. Guided by the university’s three development strategies including talent competitiveness, distinctive development, and open schooling, and sticking to the working principle of “strengthening high-level talent team, optimizing structure, focusing on reform, and boosting vitality”, BJUT builds a well-structured talent acquisition and training system and creates an institutional environment suitable for the growth and development of talents, thus providing great support for the young faculty in their scholarly research and teaching. Currently, BJUT has 3171 faculty and staff, including 2000 full-time faculty.

应聘时间：学校全年接受高层次人才应聘。  

Application time：Open all-year round. 

所需材料：个人详细简历（建议包括：个人基本信息、出生年月、教育经历、科研或工作经历、近五年论文发表目录、近五年承担科研项目情况、所获学术奖励及个人荣誉情况、联系方式等）；学术代表作全文；其他成果支撑材料等。  

You need to provide: Full CV (including basic information, date of birth, education, research and work experience, catalog of papers published in recent five years, information of research projects undertaken in recent five years, academic awards and personal honors, contact information, etc.); Full text of your academic representative work; other supporting materials, etc. 

应聘方式：以“姓名-人才类别-拟应聘学部（院）/学科”命名，发送至拟应聘学部（院）联系邮箱，并抄送至学校高层次人才招聘邮箱（gdrc@bjut.edu.cn）。学部（院）收到简历后进行初步筛查，将符合申报条件且有意向引进的申报人材料推荐至学校高层次人才办公室进行资审。申报人向学部（院）投递简历后可与学部（院）联系了解申报进度。 

Application procedure: Please name your CV in the format of “name-talent category-faculty (college)/discipline”, and email it to the faculty (college) with a copy to the High-level Talent Office (gdrc@bjut.edu.cn). After receiving the application credentials, the faculty (college) will conduct preliminary screening and then recommend the eligible applicants to the High-level Talent Office for qualification check.
