Regime在物理学上的含义
||
一般词典上只能查到下面两个意思。
regime n. 政治制度，制度，政权，政体（A prevailing social system or pattern，a system of government or a particular administration，a social system or order，the period during which a particular government or ruling system is in power）
另外一个在医学上的用法是：治疗方案或养生法或疗养方案或规则（a systematic plan for therapy (often including diet)）
但Wikipedia上提供了Regime在科学上的含义。Regime在物理学上作为“一组物理条件”或“限制性条件”。
The word regime (also "régime", from the original French pronunciation) refers to a set of conditions, most often of a political nature.
In scientific discussions, a regime is a class of physical conditions, usually parameterised by some specific measures, where a particular physical phenomenon or boundary condition is significant. Very often a regime corresponds to a limiting condition. The region of measurable parameter space that corresponds to a regime is very often loosely defined. Examples include "the superfluid regime", "the steady state regime" or "the femtosecond regime".
In geography and hydrography, "regime" refers to the changing conditions of river beds and other features, such as systems of sandbars.

State状态, phase相,. Regime体制含义相近，指不同学科研究的不同类型的物体，分别为力学的，热力统计物理学的，以至凝聚态物理学所研究的，在各自一定环境约束下，具有相关动力学稳定性的，一系列条件。

回复 ： 我的意思是，词语只有在上下文中才有意义，词典中的义项不可能穷尽所有含义，另外，词语在不同学科间的含义经常借用、引申。Wikipedia讲regime是一组条件，跟体系、系统、状态、相这些意思是很相近的（我个人的理解，一组条件决定一种状态，就是一种系统）。生态学上的这句话“Ecosystems may transition from one stable state to another, in what is known as a state shift (sometimes termed a phase shift or regime shift), when perturbed.”，包括你后面引的那句话“It has been variously argued that the pseudogap is a signature of unusual superconducting fluctuations , of a competing nonsuperconducting phase or regime , or of physics not contained in the Hubbard model”，都说明regime跟state、phase意思是相近的，虽然Wikipedia并没有明确这样讲。2014-7-9 05:361 楼（回复楼主）

- 各位老师，请问Hydrological regime具体含义是什么？我开始以为可以解释为“水文过程”、“水文循环机制/规律”。但是后来又查阅，它好像指河道、湖泊、水库、沼泽等水体的水位、流量的变化过程。
所以现在有点迷糊了。这个词最近在水文学中也经常出现。 -

HYDROLOGICAL REGIMES
The analysis and understanding of hydrological regimes occupies an important place in the hydrological cycle. Although the hydrological regime is not explicitly part of the water cycle process, it plays an integrating role in the sense that on the one hand, discharge is an integrating measurement of the conditions that generate surface runoff, and on the other hand the analysis of hydrological regimes is based on large data sets and requires a number of statistical tools. Thus, the hydrological regime can be viewed as a linking element between hydrological space and time, and supplies invaluable
information for anyone interested in the behavior of a river or a region, whether it is for hydrological, geographical or climatic purposes. In this chapter we will cover some of the essential concepts, followed by some classification options and a description of
specific regimes in our latitudes.
10.1 INTRODUCTION
Records of a river's discharge over a number of years reveal systematic seasonal variations (positions of high and low flows) as a function of the main factors influencing flow: the precipitation regime, the nature of the watershed, its geographical situation, the infiltration capacity, etc… The hydrological regime of a river summarizes all its hydrological characteristics and its variations, and is defined by its discharge variations. The concept of hydrological regime is fundamental because it links hydrological processes to the seasons in which they occur, as Lambert noted (1996). Consequently, we can characterize a watershed and its flow by adopting a regime classification for its rivers according to the systematic seasonal fluctuations in discharge they show, and their mode of alimentation. A monthly flow distribution is then used to classify the flow regime of a river.2014-7-8 22:092 楼（回复楼主）
