2022年09月10日是教师节，也是农历中秋佳节，今年还是我在中国海洋大学从教三十五周年。数日前欣慰得知，我衔命申报的海洋气象学教学团队获评中国气象局优秀教学团队荣誉称号，2022年09月08日将在北京举行授牌仪式。特赋小诗一首以纪念和自勉。

三十五载，韶华飞逝，青丝渐退。

听教室内外，书声朗朗；校园上下，墨香沁肺。

梦种黑板，书浸汗水，辛勤园丁倍欣慰。

毕业季，喜鸿雁成行，纷飞南北。

大树参天云蔚，自纤纤幼苗施水肥。

昔先贤前辈，艰难创业；

披荆斩棘，奋起直追。

浩海求索，立言济世，中华崛起使命催。

举望眼，瞰风云变幻，更待吾辈。

          Tune: Qinyuanchun  Emotional Feelings on Teachers’ Day

10 September 2022 is the teachers’ day, and also the mid-autumn festival according to Chinese calendar. This year is also the 35th anniversary of my teaching in Ocean University of China. A few days ago, I was pleased to know that the teaching team of marine meteorology, which I headed to apply from China Meteorological Administration, has been awarded the honorary title of excellent teaching team. The awarding ceremony will be held in Beijing on 08 September  2022. Thus, I’d like to write this special poem to encourage and commemorate myself.

Thirty-five years, time flies, and my hairs are fading gradually.

In and out of classroom, listen to the sound of reading books. 

On and off campus, the smell of ink runs into our lungs.

Build the dream into the blackboard, soak books with sweat, hardworking gardeners feel remarkably satisfactory.

In graduation season, we are happy that those well-educated “geese” fly southward and northward, respectively.

Big trees are now towering touching with clouds. However, their growths were due to that waters and fertilizers had been applied to young seedlings already.

In past, our predecessors initialized the education cause with difficulties.

Cut out a way through thistles and thorns, catching up bravely.

Explorating the vast ocean, making welfare to humans. The mission of China’s rise urges our task.

Looking future, overview this fast-changing world, there are also more expectations to our generation.
