特刊简介：

第四届国际克氏综合征及其他超数性染色体非整倍体研讨会于2025年10月8日至10日在帕多瓦举行，主题为"贯穿一生的旅程：旧问题的新解答"。此前，该系列研讨会曾在哥本哈根（2010年）、明斯特（2016年）和莱顿（2022年）举办。

本届研讨会探讨了额外X或Y染色体对个体整个生命周期的影响，特别关注从出生、婴儿期、青春期、成年期到老年期的关键阶段。会议关注了综合征及性腺功能的核心组成，以及合并症，并综合了遗传、内分泌、代谢、心理、社会及人际关系等多维度视角，所有这些因素共同影响着患者的健康状态与生活质量。会议内容涵盖了基础与转化研究，并结合了更多临床与社会议题，同时对未来挑战及新的国际指南进行了讨论。

• New data on epidemiology based also from strategies to reduce under-diagnosis based on prenatal screening, basic research on etiology and genotype-phenotype relation;

• Testicular function including hypogonadism, spermatogenesis and managing fertility issues, and testosterone therapy in infants and adults.

• Endocrine, metabolic, cardiovascular, bone comorbidities and their treatment across the lifespan;

• Phenotype variations beyond genetics and testosterone;

• Transition from adolescence to adulthood;

• Neurologic, neurodevelopmental, cognitive and psychologic issues;

• Determinants of well-being and quality of life;

• Basic and clinical sciences research challenges;

• Developing new international guidelines.
