两个词(辅音结尾+元音开头)要拼起来,读成一个词,中间不要有停顿。
辅音结尾 : /l/, /z/ (s), /v/, /n/, /t/, /d/
元音开头: a, at, an, as, all, and, egg, any, of, in, is, it, on, up
In fluent English, when one word ends in a consonant sound (辅音) and the next word begins in a vowel sound (元音), we link the two sounds together without a pause in between them. So, an egg becomes anegg. Here are some more examples.
He's holding an egg.
He’s in the garden.
I used to believe in Father Christmas, but not any more.
I had to give up jogging.
He had it in his office.
It is a hard-boiled egg, isn't it?
eat it all up
a host of golden daffodils
the margin of a bay
