    今天，我亲眼目睹了PhilipS.Yu教授的真容，同时听了PhilipS.Yu教授的精彩报告。教授本次报告的主要内容有：（1）Using social network to predict or promote real world activities；（2）Transfering Knowledge across multiple social networks.  在第一个方面，教授首先阐述了Big Data的背景和其特性（Velocity,Variety,Veracity,Volume），然后强调了Information Fusion的重要性，并以Kickstarter and Tweeter 数据集为例，大致说明了他们信息融合的实验；在第二个方面，教授以Foursquare和Twitter数据集为例，进行了Collective Link Prediction，这里的Collective Link Prediction是从Social ，Spatial，Temporal，Content四个方面来取features。
