Question the Meaning of “Quark”

Physics today is at a standstill for about 100 years since relativities and quantum mechanics. Many of us know this, but can’t help it. Have you ever thought the reasons behind? It is the “quark” I mean.  Is the quark model that blocks the development of physics today.

Quark model was established in 1960s. It has occupies a top position in physics since then. Many people believe it firmly. However, quite some of them may have believes only because of its prestige and “successful” results, but not the understanding of it. So far, sixty years have passed away; now think back, what have we acquired from the topic theory? No, absolutely not. We obtained nothing from the “dignified” theory except the prediction of those synthetic unstable particles from experimental collision of energetic particles.

Whether the particle prediction is just the value and significance of the theory? You may argue for it.  Then the answers are waiting for you as follows: 1) The predict particles are unstable and can’t exist in nature and with no practical use; 2) The quark model is a possible phenomenological theory. Other theory can also predict the fragmented particles; 3) Quark model cannot prove itself not to be a phenomenological theory; 4) Phenomenological theory has its practical significance, as Schrödinger equation has. Schrödinger equation’s correctness is on its correct application in describing atoms, but not its wave function mechanism. Its wave function’s mechanism is corrected by Born probability density.  However, the key problem is that as a possible phenomenological theory, the purpose of quark’s predictions and verifications attempt to prove its correctness in mechanism, and this made a mistake in logic severely; 5) The correctness in debris particle prediction does not represent the correctness of its theory in mechanism, ie., successful particle prediction can’t prove that the baryons consist of the so-called quarks; 6) Quark model is a clumsy theory for as more as 19 parameters were arbitrarily assigned; 7) Quark model is a selfish theory for it was self-styled as “standard” model of elementary particles; 8) Quark model can’t explain why the electron has no quark structure though it possessing a complete negative charge; 9) An unacceptable thing is that, in quark model, as matter particle, the electrons even exist with no size. This shows its phenomenological attribute in one side; 10) In quark theory, quarks were said to be “quark confinement”, can’t be separated and existed independently. The leak source of “quark” was artificially protected technically. The self-protection setting makes it falling into a Popper's division of irrefutable theory. 11) Quark theory can’t touch the essence of mass and charge; however it claimed it has unified the forces of three that exposed its heavy lack of physical mind.

Quark theory is highly deceptive. Besides its self, a funny thing is that as more as 18 Nobel Prize were conferred in the field, and that convince people to believe its correctness. I want to say that for science, quarks are toxic, in addition the virtual photon and virtual gluon. Although imaginary number has been proved having physical meaning, however, what does the virtual photon mean? It at least has to be a plural thing; it must be one side with real part observable; but it didn't. This also unilaterally shows its phenomenological property.

The only benefit of quark theory is that it stimulated the experimental research of high energy physics, and whereat, the mystery of θ-τ was discovered and then the parity non conservation law; thank you, quark!
