潮州民间文学在新马的传承：马汉儿童文学的再创作

摘要：潮汕民间故事是潮汕人在长期的社会生产和生活实践中创造的、以口头形式世代相传下来的散文叙事文学。马汉的华族民间故事集《恶嫂嫂变猴子》有12 篇潮州民间故事，是广义的民间故事，即包括潮州民间神话、民间传说以及民间故事在内。本文探讨马汉对潮州民间故事改写，在新马传播潮州文化的贡献和作品特色，以及作品发挥着传承地方文化知识的功能。

Inheritance of Chaozhou Folk Literature in Singapore and Malaysia: 

Mahan Rewriting Old Stories for Children

Abstract：The Chaozhou (Teochew) folktales are prose narrative literatures that have been created by Chaozhou people in the long-term social production and life practice and passed down from generation to generation. Mahan’s Chinese folk literature collection "Ferocious Aunt Turned into a Monkey" collected 12 Chaozhou folktales stories. This article explores Mahan's rewriting of Chaozhou folktales, the contribution of Chaozhou culture in Malaysia and Singapore, and also the characteristics of his works, as well as his ability to inherit local cultural knowledge. The folktales discussed are general folktales, including Chaozhou folk myths, folklore and folktales.
