作为独特的宏观量子现象,超导体在凝聚态物理研究中起到重要作用。从基础研究来看,超导体的发现和超导理论的发展都伴随着凝聚态物理学中的重大突破。从应用角度来看,超导体在精密测量、强磁场和量子计算等方面有着不可替代的应用。虽然超导研究已经有百年历史,如何寻找新型超导体、如何利用超导体发现新的量子现象以及如何理解非常规超导一直是凝聚态物理中广受关注的问题。


2020年末新发现的新型钒基笼目超导体为回答以上的问题提供了一个新的优质平台。作为二维几何阻挫最大的晶格,二维笼目晶格一直是量子材料研究中的明星材料。如何利用这一简单晶格实现更多新奇的物理现象备受关注。在笼目晶格中发现准二维超导尚属首次。经过过去一年多的发展,国内外许多优秀的研究组在该材料的超导物性、电荷密度波、电子向列相、时间反演破缺、超导配对密度波等方面取得了重要进展,受到广泛关注。这些发现都为超导物理研究带来了新气象,为理解量子材料提供新机遇。


本专题收录了近期国内钒基笼目超导体领域的部分最新研究成果,研究内容涉及笼目超导的晶体结构、电荷密度波、超导、反常霍尔效应、条纹序、能带重构、压力效应和新型双层钒基笼目材料等。希望本专题能够对国内外研究有所帮助,促进合作交流,为进一步发展笼目超导体以及更多新型超导体提供新的基础。
