Dr. Nick Rowe is currently working at the lab of Botany and Modelling of Plant Architecture and Vegetation within CIRAD in Montpellier, France. In 1986, he completed his Ph. D. thesis at the Departmentof Botany, University of Bristol, UK, entitled “The fossil flora of the Drybrook sandstone (Lower Carboniferous) from the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.” Then, Dr. Rowe went to University of Montpellier in southern France, and worked a post-doc fellow with Jean Galtier. He worked in Germany and UK for several years.
