I never had to worry about this until lastweek. My Gmail was 70% full, so I thought I would delete some old emails. Inoticed a folder at the top, called "Important." It had all (?) myemails there. I thought it was redundant, so I carefully went to the end andstarted to delete one year of email at a time... (Hey, at least I didn’t hitdelete all!) Then, I noticed something unpleasant: emails were"missing" from my other folders!
I couldn’t get an appointment at the AppleStore until a few days later. Finally, it’s my turn, and the staff at the storestarted to “rebuild” my trash bin. Thank goodness, things in the trash bin canstay there for 30 days, unless you hit delete forever.
So, it wasted a lot of my brain cells and a lotof my time, but I may have not lost many emails that I would like to keep.
Next, I will move folders from UH Gmail to myown Gmail, which will take forever (and may force me to pay for Gmail disk spacefinally).
