高智商的山药 & Does evolutionary theory need a rethink?

前段时间买的山药来不及吃,结果发芽了,于是种在花盆里,想等开花后结出小灯笼样的果果,不料这几天气温陡降,看山药叶都开始黄了,却惊讶的发现藤上部长出许多零余子,不得不惊叹山药对环境的应变能力:在来不及开花结果的情况下,就改用零余子来繁殖!

不由想起前几天看的:Does evolutionary theory need a rethink?(  Nature Magazine - 9 October 2014),新的观点The extended evolutionarysynthesis (EES)认为:that the EES will shed new light on how evolution works. We hold that organisms are constructed in development, not simply ‘programmed’ to develop by genes. Living things donot evolve to fit into pre-existing environments, but co-construct and coevolvewith their environments, in the process changing the structure of ecosystems.
